What did you study? - I got my A levels (VWO) in Zeist and afterwards I graduated as a Master of Science in Business Informatics at the VU University in Amsterdam. As the name indicates this study combines people (business) and technology (informatics). I wrote my Master’s thesis at a medium-sized software and consulting company, describing their best practices for “Business modelling and requirements gathering”, which was an interesting first introduction to the IT consulting Business in practice.
Where did you work before joining musQueteer? - My first post-graduate job was at Accenture Amsterdam, where I was hired while I was finalizing my Master’s thesis. Before joining musQueteer, I worked there for 3 years as an IT Consultant on different projects for multiple clients, mainly in a role as intermediairy between business (client) and technology. At that time Accenture’s recruiting campaign promised me a flying start and with hindsight this definitely succeeded!
What made you decide to switch to a smaller company? - When working for a small company you have the possibility to shape things and make business decisions, which gives you a very strong and direct influence on the success of the company.
How would your colleagues describe you? - They would describe me as a social and honest person who at the same time is passionate and keen.
What makes you a musQueteer? - musQueteer B.V. takes its name from the historical Three musketeers because of their famous motto: “One for All, All for One”. The fact that I am loyal to my colleagues and passionate to reach what’s best for musQueteer B.V., makes me a musQueteer.
