What did you study? - I have studied electrical engineering at the Delft University of Technology. My main subject was telecommunication on the department Wireless and Mobile Communications. My thesis was about Error-Correcting codes, algorithms which make it possible to detect and corrects errors on a binary level (zeros and ones).
Where did you work before joining musQueteer? - After my graduation I've started at Accenture as an IT consultant. I was given the opportunity to work on projects at different (multi)nationals. For some projects, I had to travel abroad such as Spain, Ireland, Hungary, Romania and Slowakia. At that time, it was quite exciting.
What made you decide to switch to a smaller company? - My experience at large companies is that they tend to focus on their own interests and that better solutions or ideas are not carried out for that matter. MusQueteer is small, but therefore very flexible. We can propose better solutions to the clients an d focus on their interest which may not be the easiest for ourselves to realize. In my opinion, this should be the basis for a long term mutual interest relationship.
What is your most adventureous holiday? - Actually, this was not a holiday. I was attending a training somewhere near Nice in France when I was still working for my former employer. I went a couple days earlier and rented a car on my own. Obviously, I couldn't resist to cruise on the circuit of Monaco in my rented Renault Kangoo mini van.
What makes you a musQueteer? - The slogan of musQueteer is "One for All, All for One". I think that match with the loyalty I stand for and maybe expecting from my colleagues.
